Walk as One on World Labyrinth Day

Every year on the first Saturday in May thousands of people around the globe participate in World Labyrinth Day as a moving meditation for world peace and celebration of the labyrinth experience. Many “Walk as One at 1” local time to create a rolling wave of peaceful energy passing from one time zone to the next.

Here on the Holy Mountain, you are invited to join us for lunch at 12 PM in the dining room on the 5th floor of the Holy Mountain Retreat Center.  Richard Ferrara, a volunteer who helped create our labyrinth, with give an informal talk during lunch.  At 1 PM we will Walk as One at 1.

Or – stop by the labyrinth any time during the day and walk on your own.  Be sure to visit St. Francis Chapel during this Jubilee year of St. Francis and make time to stop at the Graymoor Book & Gift Center on the 4th floor.

If you’d like to join us for  lunch  at noon, you must please make a reservation.

Enter Graymoor from Route 9, drive to the top of the mountain, and turn left into the large parking lot by the Welcome Center. Enter under the Graymoor sign and take the elevator to the dining room on 5th floor

If you are just coming to walk the labyrinth, park at Our Lady of Atonement Chapel.
