Centering Prayer and Its Companion Practice: Lectio Divina

10 AM – 3 PM

Contemplative Outreach of Westchester is grateful to offer this Day of Recollection, hosted by Graymoor, with Sr. Peggy Murphy, OP.

Discover how Centering Prayer and Lectio Divina beautifully complement one another in the contemplative life. Sr. Peggy will introduce the four movements of Lectio Divina, offer practical guidance for praying with Scripture, and explore how this ancient practice deepens our relationship with God.

Open to everyone—from beginners to experienced practitioners—this day promises inspiring teaching, prayer, reflection, fellowship, and Sr. Peggy’s signature warmth, wisdom, and gentle humor. We hope you’ll join us for this enriching day of contemplative renewal.

The day will also include two 25-minute Centering Prayer sessions
